Learning Resilience

I learned an important lesson in resilience this week when my car was broken into and many items were stolen from me. Among the items of varying monetary value was an illustrated journal that I had been working on for just under a year. The book held a wealth of illustrations, poetry and process work from my last year in undergrad at Emily Carr University of Art and Design. It was an interesting lesson in value and the fragile nature of something that cannot be saved to a docs folder. I managed to document quite a bit of the book before its disappearance and now I am thankful that it will live on through these photos.
